Our FALL 2011 Storytime program schedule for the youngsters of the Canon-McMillan School District is offered at FSPL.
Please choose day and time listed below, based on what is most convenient for you and your child(ren). Please call the Library 724-745-1308 for additional information or to register. Registration has begun and is ongoing.
*A valid Frank Sarris Public Library card is required of parents and/or caregivers that will register a child or children. Caregivers stay with the child, except for members of the Preschool Class.

BABY BOOKWORMS

Age: 9 mos. to Two Years old

It’s never too early to expose your child to the wonder of the spoken word and the magic of books! This program is designed to teach parents how to encourage their children’s early literacy skills, preparing them to learn to read. Stories, fingerplays and songs are a great way to promote shared fun.

TODDLER TIME

Ages: 2 to 3 Years old with adult

Stories, songs, crafts and lots of fun for adult and child while the kids are learning print motivation, print awareness, letter recognition, vocabulary...(Shhhh! It’s early literacy training in disguise)

PRESCHOOL STORYHOUR

Ages 4 to 5 Years old with or without adult
|

Wednesdays
11:15 AM - 12:00 PM

We encourage language and literacy skills through stories, songs and finger plays to make Storytime fun and interactive! Parents may choose whether to participate in the program with the child, but all children must be deliverd to and picked up from the Children’s Department.

Spend some quality time with your child or children while promoting early literacy skills through both the written and spoken word. Stories, songs, activities and fun for adults and children both! No drop-offs permitted.
